FBOP black tea Sri Lanka (Ceylon), natural bergamot flavour. Two ingredients. Nothing more.
The Bergamot
Bergamot is the emblematic citrus of Earl Grey. We use a precisely dosed natural flavour, present enough to sign the cup, subtle enough to let the FBOP express itself in the background. The classic mistake is over-flavouring and losing the tea.
Tasting Notes
Clean, precise bergamot on the nose. Malty FBOP body in immediate support. Slightly citrusy finish. Works equally well hot or iced. Brew concentrated at 3 g / 200 ml and pour over ice.
Serving Tips
Excellent on its own. Accepts a splash of milk without losing the bergamot. For iced tea, brew 3 g / 200 ml at 95°C, 3 min, let cool, pour over ice.
