Composition
Ceylon OP black tea, natural bergamot flavor. Two ingredients. Nothing more.
The Bergamot
Bergamot is Earl Grey's signature citrus. We use a natural flavor dosed with precision: present enough to sign the cup, discreet enough to let the OP express itself underneath. The classic mistake is over-flavoring and losing the tea.
Tasting
Sharp, clean bergamot on the opening. The OP's delicate, floral body in immediate support. Slightly citrusy finish. Works hot as well as iced: brew 2 g / 200 ml and pour over ice.
Tips
Excellent neat. Takes a light drop of milk without losing the bergamot. For iced tea, brew 2 g / 200 ml at 95°C for 3 to 4 min, let cool, pour over ice.
