Honey & dried fruitRound bodyFresh tartness
Composition

Summer Queen black tea, summer harvest (second flush), Wah Tea Estate, Kangra Valley, Himachal Pradesh, India. Pesticide-free agriculture, directly sourced.

Tasting

Coppery to amber cup. A nose of oakwood and honey. Round, full body, notes of honey and dried fruit crossed by a tart edge that brings freshness. Light, well-integrated astringency. The comforting cup of our Indian range.

The Kangra Valley

Grown since the mid-19th century between 900 and 1,400 meters on the foothills of the Dhauladhar, the Kangra Valley enjoys a cool climate, loamy soil and generous rainfall. It is the only black tea region in India protected by a European Geographical Indication, and one of the most confidential: its production remains tiny next to neighboring Darjeeling.

Tips

Neat, or with a touch of honey to extend its natural sweetness. Avoid milk, which would mask the profile's subtlety. 90 to 95°C, 3 to 4 minutes.
