Ingredients
Broken Orange Pekoe black tea, Uva Province, Sri Lanka (Ceylon), direct sourcing. Pure grade, no additions.
Tasting Notes
Very dark liquor, nearly black in the cup. Powerful attack, strong malt, assertive astringency on the finish. Full body. It takes milk and sugar without losing its character. The opposite of subtlety. Unapologetic.
Uva Province
Uva is one of the most respected regions in Sri Lanka for its bold black teas. The altitude and particular climate, dry and strong winds, give BOP Uva its characteristic body, impossible to replicate elsewhere.
With Milk
One of the rare teas in the range that works perfectly with whole milk. Pour the milk before or after, it is a matter of taste. The robustness of BOP Uva allows it to hold without disappearing into the milk.
