Composition
Broken Orange Pekoe black tea, Uva Province, Sri Lanka (Ceylon), direct sourcing. Pure grade, no additions.
Tasting Notes
Very dark liquor, almost black in the cup. Powerful attack, strong malt, bold astringency on the finish. Full body. It takes milk and sugar without losing its character. Unapologetic.
Uva Province
Uva is one of Sri Lanka's most respected regions for bold black teas. The altitude and distinctive climate, dry and strong winds, give BOP Uva its signature body, unmatched elsewhere.
With Milk
One of the few teas in the range that pairs perfectly with whole milk. Pouring the milk before or after is a matter of taste. The robustness of BOP Uva lets it hold its own without disappearing into the milk.
