The boldest grade of the range. Uva BOP is the morning tea: the one that takes milk, the one whose cup is almost black. Pure grade, nothing added. For those who want a real cup.
Composition
Broken Orange Pekoe black tea, Uva Province, Sri Lanka (Ceylon), directly sourced. Pure grade, no additions.
Tasting
Very dark, near-black cup. Powerful attack, sustained malt, frank astringency on the finish. Full body. It takes milk and sugar without losing its personality. The opposite of subtlety. Proudly so.
Uva Province
Uva is one of Sri Lanka's most respected regions for bold black teas. Altitude and a particular climate of dry, strong winds give Uva BOP its signature body, inimitable elsewhere.
With Milk
One of the few teas in the range that pairs perfectly with whole milk. Milk first or last is a matter of taste: Uva BOP is robust enough to hold its own.
